Besides the presidential election this year, North Carolina in general, and Forsyth County in particular, will be holding many important elections. Redistricting has created vastly different NC House districts in Forsyth county that will assuredly lead to a different delegation next year, plus three very important County Commissioner seats are up. At the state level, Republicans seek to capitalize on Democrat Governor Beverly Perdue’s decision not to run for re-election, a victory in and of itself, by taking not just the Governor’s race, but many of the Council of State positions. And of course it is time to maintain control of the 5th district while continuing to make headway in the 12th.

If you are planning to run as a Republican for any seat in Forsyth County this year, we encourage you to contact Chairman Nathan Tabor so that you can get your message to Forsyth County Republicans.
