About Forsyth County GOP
The Forsyth County GOP operates under a Plan of Organization that is approved at the annual county convention. The current plan was approved in 2009 and can be seen here (pdf).
Officers
Officers of the party are elected at the county convention in odd numbered years and serve for two years. The officers for 2011-2013 are:
Chairman: Nathan Tabor
Vice Chair: Donna Averitt
Secretary: Sara Blackburn
Treasurer: Brian Miller
Asst. Treasurer: Scott Cumbie
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is made up of the individual precinct chairmen and others as defined in the Plan of Organization, and is responsible for the operations of the party. The committee meets when called by the chairman, but must meet at least twice a year. The current Executive Committee is:
Central Committee
The Central Committee is comprised of the elected officers and individual committee chairs. The Central Committee meets on the third Mondays of each month and is responsible for carrying out the operations of the party as defined by the Executive Committee. The current Central Committee is:
